Elite Series Features

Hook Strong manufactures rods that are tailored to your fishing method. For example, because your hands stay wet while wading and kayaking we use Winn grips for these rods that do not lose their grip even when wet. Handle lengths and rod lengths also differ per application. Rod powers are available across all models, and we generally recommend the lighter power for trout fishing with light lures and heavier powers for redfish or heavier lure weights.

The Drifter

Designed specifically for drift fishing from a boat

100% Carbon fiber handles
Standard handle lengths for leverage and long casts
Extra rod length for longer casts

The Yaker

Designed for the kayak fisherman

Winn Grip handles for added grip in a wet kayak
Yaker handle length Shorter handle lengths for castability inside a kayak. This reduces the annoying handle hang up on clothing and allows you to hold the rod closer to your body for less fatigue
Shorter rod length for castability and maneuverability inside a kayak

The Wader

Designed for the wade fisherman

Winn Grip handles for added grip when wading
Yaker handle length Shorter handle lengths for castability. This means you can hold your rod lower and closer to your body
Longer rod lengths for added distance while wading
